Anki is a flash-card program released publicly under the GNU Affero General Public License v3. Essentially, this program (available for your computer or smartphone) allows you to download or develop "decks" of digital flash cards. It presents a certain number of those flash cards each day, which you go through and try to memorize. Easy buttons allow to choose how soon you want to review that card again (say, in ten minutes, or in two days) depending on how well you remember it. This method means that things you remember easily are reviewed less often, and things you have trouble remembering are reviewed more often. By reviewing for a few minutes daily in this way, it's surprisingly easy to remember a surprisingly large number of facts.

This resource provides an Anki deck for basic dozenal facts, including:

  • Dozenal multiplication tables, not including zero, through 10 (the dozen).
  • Multiplication tables for 5 through 5 * 24 (E8).
  • Basic dozenal fractions (halves, thirds, quarters, eighths, and dozen-fourths (sixteenths)); e.g., 3/14 = 0;23.
  • Basic divisibility rules (for 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10); e.g., a number is divisibile by 3 if it ends in 0, 3, 6, or 9.

This provides an excellent, low-cost, and low-time-commitment way of memorizing those basic mathematical facts in dozenal. Memorizing these will make working in dozenal easier, enabling us to take full advantage of the superior base-twelve system.
