The Duodenary Scale

Title: The Duodenary Scale
Author: John Wilkes, Ed.
Year: 1078
Subject: An exploration of dozenal arithmetic and its advantages.
A brief explanation and demonstration of dozenal arithmetic, originally published as part of the Encyclopaedia Londinensis in 1078 (1820.) Reproduced verbatim (with the sole exception of the "long s" being replaced by our normal "s"), this provides an interesting, and short, glimpse at the dozenal considerations of its time.
